Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR)

TIR is a viewer-facilitator process that helps you work through the emotional burden of a traumatic incident in a gentle way. In this supportive process, your perspective on the traumatic event is what truly matters. I focus on what you want to explore, ensuring that each session is structured and purposeful. This method taps into the memories that may be causing you distress, aiming to resolve those deep-rooted issues rather than just managing symptoms. Whether you’re dealing with flashbacks, nightmares or feelings of being on edge, TIR offers a pathway to relief and healing.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy helps you explore the hidden forces that shape your feelings and behaviours, often linking them back to early life experiences. On this journey of self-discovery, you’ll gain insight into the unconscious wishes and fears that affect your daily life, as well as the significant moments from your childhood that have shaped who you are today. It’s about understanding yourself on a deeper level, empowering you to live with greater awareness and fulfillment.

03.

Tele-therapy & Online Therapy

The Covid-19 pandemic showed us the importance of staying connected, even when we are apart. Using tele-therapy, I can support you in your home, using secure video platforms to connect with your therapist. Whether you’re across town or across the globe, this convenient and effective form of therapy makes it easier than ever to receive the care you need, no matter where you are.

04.

Couples and Marital Therapy

Couples therapy is all about teamwork. We work together to improve communication, understand each other’s perspectives, and strengthen your relationship. We explore how childhood experiences might be affecting your partnership and work on resolving conflicts in a way that’s respectful and constructive. Whether you’re struggling with communication, intimacy or managing emotions, this therapy helps you build a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

05.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a practical, hands-on approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. In this therapy, I will teach you how to recognise and challenge the negative thought patterns that can keep you stuck in a cycle of distress. By monitoring your thoughts and actions, and then shifting them, CBT helps you improve your mood and regain control over your life. It’s all about focusing on the present, making positive changes here-and-now.

06.

Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse

For adults who’ve endured childhood abuse, this therapy offers a safe and structured way to heal. Using the principles of Transactional Analysis, I show you how past abuse has impacted different parts of your personality. You’ll be actively involved in the healing process, gaining the skills and confidence you need to improve your relationships and overall well-being.

07.

Post-Divorce Counselling

Divorce can be a deeply painful experience, no matter your role in the process. During counseling I provide a space to process the events that led to your divorce. We cope with the emotions that arise and rebuild your self-image. Whether you’re dealing with depression, navigating relationships with your ex and children, or considering a new relationship, we’ll work together to help you heal and move forward with confidence.

Group Trauma Debriefing

Facing challenging events can leave a lasting impact, but healing doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. Group trauma debriefing provides a safe, supportive space to process experiences together, fostering understanding, connection, and resilience. Under my guidance, individuals navigate their emotions, share perspectives, and find comfort in a community that understands. Let us take the first step toward healing—together.
